This unenclosed settlement consists of stone hut circles dating to the Bronze Age, scattered across open moorland northwest of Little Links Tor. The huts represent domestic occupation of Dartmoor during a period when the uplands supported farming communities. The stone foundations of individual dwellings remain visible as low circular banks and rubble.
Today the site sits within the characteristic working landscape of Dartmoor, where Bronze Age archaeology lies alongside modern moorland management. Visiting involves walking across open ground where the relationship between ancient settlement and topography becomes clear. The site is a Scheduled Monument, protected for its archaeological significance and contribution to understanding prehistoric life on the moor.
