Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1002595) describes an unenclosed stone hut circle settlement on the upper north-facing slopes of Vogwell Down. The scheduling falls in three areas, and the settlement is three hut circles in a line. It lies in the parish of Manaton, about 1.2 km south-west of Easdon Tor and 2.8 km west of Manaton.
The southern and central huts have circular inner areas up to 6.8 metres across, inside walls of upright stones faced on the inside and part rubble, up to 1 metre wide and 0.8 metres high, and a track cuts both. The northern hut is a levelled platform 6.5 metres across with two massive upright stones, one 2.7 metres long, 0.4 metres wide and 1.8 metres high and a smaller stone touching it. A later curving field boundary has preserved the north-western part of its wall. None of the huts has a clear entrance. A connecting bank that seems to link the central and southern huts is not scheduled, because it has not been formally assessed.
