Strane River
Dartmoor Forest, Devon
The Strane River is a short river on the southern moor, above Hexworthy. It flows down through open moorland to join the River Swincombe near Foxtor Mires. On some maps the upper Swincombe and the Strane are treated as one system, the two meeting at Swincombe Headweir Ford before the combined water runs on to the West Dart.
