Small stone ring of quartz-schorl near Brisworthy Plantation

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012248) describes a stone setting that is probably the kerb of a cairn. It is 4 metres across and made up of fourteen stones up to 0.55 metres high. The stones are quartz-schorl, not the more usual granite. There is a slight hollow in the middle of the ring, though no mound survives. It lies in the parish of Sheepstor, about 1 km west of Legis Tor and 1.7 km south of Sheepstor.
