Stone hut circle settlement 290m south east of Manga Rock

This is a cluster of prehistoric hut circles, the stone foundations of roundhouses that once stood on the open moorland. They date to the Bronze Age, when families lived and farmed across Dartmoor's higher ground. The circles are modest in scale, visible as low stone rings in the grass and heather, marked by their characteristic circular form.
Today the settlement sits among the characteristic landscape that surrounds it: rough moorland, scattered rocks, and wide views. A visit requires cross-country walking and navigation skills.
