Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1021044) describes a hull, a potato cave, as an outlying part of Riddipit farmstead, on a steep south-facing slope above a small tributary of the River Meavy. It is a tunnel cut into the steep side of a river bank, running north to south, 9.7 metres long, 1.95 metres wide and up to 1.8 metres high, with walls and roof of natural subsoil. It is entered through a granite doorway 0.73 metres wide and 1.12 metres high with a large lintel carrying the roof. An iron bolt sticks out on the west side of the doorway and there is a hinge on the inside of the east side, so the door opened inwards. It lies in the parish of Walkhampton, about 0.9 km north-east of Leather Tor and 2.9 km north of Sheepstor.
