This stone building at Crazy Well Farm, standing 300 metres south of Crazy Well Pool, dates from the post-medieval period and reflects the long history of settlement and farming on Dartmoor's higher ground. The structure is modest in scale, built from moorland stone in the practical style of its era, and remains as evidence of the resilience required to work this landscape.
