Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1019997) describes a platform cairn on the gentle north-facing slope of a prominent ridge above the valley of the Green Combe on Shapley Common, part of a cluster of mounds along the ridge. It is a circular platform 12 metres across and 0.2 metres high with a mound up to 0.8 metres high and 8 metres across in the centre. It lies in the parish of North Bovey, about 0.8 km north of Shapley Tor and 1.3 km south of Lettaford.
