Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1010594) describes a platform cairn close to the rock outcrop known as Fordsland Ledge, on the south-west spur of High Willhays above the valley of the West Okement River. The mound is 13.9 metres across and up to 1.1 metres high. In the middle is a rectangular pit roughly lined with large stones, which may mark a cist or another structure uncovered by early excavation, and some stones sticking out of the mound may have been exposed by the same digging. A few edge-set stones mark the north edge and probably belong to a kerb that survives elsewhere round the edge as a buried feature. It lies in the parish of Okehampton Hamlets, about 1.3 km north-west of Dinger Tor.
