Three Barrows is a group of three Bronze Age cairns set on open moorland on Ugborough Moor. These burial mounds, likely dating to the second millennium BC, are among thousands of prehistoric monuments that dot Dartmoor's high ground. Cairns like these would have marked the graves of significant individuals or families, and their prominence on the skyline suggests they held social and spiritual importance to Bronze Age communities.
Today the cairns remain visible features of the moorland landscape, though time and weather have weathered them. The site rewards a walk across open country and offers views across the moor.
