I'm a proud Devonian, born and bred in Brixham with a love of the moor since my childhood. My Grandad’s family farmed around Bovey and it was through him that I was introduced to the wild spaces that have been a constant in my life ever since.

It all started back in the summer of 2017 when, from memory, I came across the website ‘Moorland Walker’, a blog by Paul Buck. Now, I have always loved walking on Dartmoor since a very young age and have seen many other websites on the subject, however this one hooked me.
Helen is a psychology graduate. teacher and hypnotherapist. She lives in Devon and spends her time exploring and photographing the ancient and enigmatic sites of Dartmoor.
