Cliff Ellis Ceramics

Cliff has been potting for over 30 years. His love for ceramics came from his Father, growing up in east Devon, he was surrounded by homemade items everywhere. From there, the desire to create purposeful, beautiful pieces began to grow. Starting with an evening course under the talented Margret O’Rorke and many stays at the Leach Pottery, he has developed his own unique style and technique.

Cliff specialises in gas fired pottery in his studio in Ashburton, he also does his own soda firing in a location nearby. Every piece is lovingly handcrafted by him, supplying numerous local businesses as well as made to order pieces.
