Cairn south of Eylesbarrow Reave

This cairn lies south of Eylesbarrow Reave, one of Dartmoor's most prominent Bronze Age field boundaries. The cairn itself dates to the Bronze Age, when communities across Dartmoor built burial mounds and ritual monuments across the high moorland. Such cairns often marked significant places in the landscape, serving as burial sites, territorial markers, or focal points for ritual activity.

Today the cairn survives as a low earthwork among the open moorland, visible as a slight raised mound.
