Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1014479) describes the remains of a rectangular building, thought to be a shelter, on a narrow terrace on the east side of the steep-sided valley of Spanish Lake. It is of historic date and stands on an earlier leat earthwork, and the leat is included in the scheduling where it runs under the building. The inside measures 5 metres by 3 metres, enclosed by a double-faced rubble wall 1 metre wide and 0.4 metres high. It lies in the parish of Shaugh Prior, about 0.6 km north of Little Trowlesworthy Tor and 3.1 km south-east of Sheepstor.
