Two round cairns near Statts Bridge

These two round cairns are Bronze Age burial monuments, likely dating to the second millennium BC. They sit in the open moorland northwest of Statts Bridge, part of the rich archaeological landscape of central Dartmoor where Bronze Age communities built and used these structures as places to inter their dead.

Today the cairns remain visible as rounded stone mounds in the moorland, weathered by centuries but still legible on the ground.
