Tor Support Services

Tor Support Services provides professional counselling, advice and emotional support for young people aged 5 to 25 living in Okehampton and the surrounding parishes within approximately 10 miles of the town. They typically offer eight free, confidential counselling sessions to help young people work through emotional and psychological difficulties, improve self-esteem and relationships, and build more positive futures.

Based at Okehampton College, Tor Support works directly with young people to alleviate distress and improve quality of life. Anyone can make a referral—parents, schools, GPs or the young person themselves. The service has good links with other local organisations across Devon and Dartmoor, helping to connect young people with additional support when needed.
