Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1007551) describes a round cairn on a prominent hill crest above the valley of the River Walkham. The mound is 4.2 metres across and up to 0.35 metres high. The Dartmoor Exploration Committee excavated it in 1901 and found a pit under the mound but no objects. It stands about 25 metres south of the Langstone Moor stone circle. It lies in the parish of Peter Tavy, about 0.5 km north-west of Clay Tor and 3.1 km north of Merrivale.
