Piles Reave

Piles Reave is one of Dartmoor's most significant prehistoric field systems, a long stone wall that has survived since the Bronze Age. Walking along its length, you can trace the ancient divisions that once ordered the grazing and cultivation of these upland commons, their stones still defining the moor much as they did millennia ago.
