Lydford Caravan & Camp Site

Lydford Caravan & Camping Park is a private Caravan Club-affiliated site in the village of Lydford, on the western edge of Dartmoor. They offer hardstanding and grass pitches with electric hook-up for caravans, motorhomes and campervans, plus a separate tent field with views across Dartmoor. Facilities include showers, toilets, a laundry room and a small on-site shop stocking groceries and camping essentials.

The location works well for exploring both Dartmoor and Devon's attractions. Lydford Gorge, a National Trust property, is within walking distance—a spectacular 3.5-mile circular walk through England's deepest gorge. The Granite Way (Route 27) passes nearby for cycling and walking. Buses to Tavistock and Okehampton stop 100m from the entrance, and it's around 9 miles to Okehampton town.
