Lambert Farmhouse

Devon

Lambert Farmhouse is a substantial listed building of medieval or early modern origin, situated in the Dartmoor borderlands where the moor transitions to lower, settled ground. The farmhouse stands as evidence of the long history of farming families who worked the land around Dartmoor's edges, adapting to the moorland climate and soil.

Today the building remains part of the living landscape, a marker of continuity in a place where many such farmsteads have roots stretching back centuries. Its Grade II* listing reflects the architectural and historical interest it holds for understanding how people have built and lived on Dartmoor's margins.
