Earthwork

This archaeological site preserves traces of ancient activity on Dartmoor's exposed moorland. The earthworks—subtle banks, ditches and settlement foundations—are difficult to read at ground level but tell stories of how Bronze Age communities adapted to life on the moor's challenging terrain. Walking here requires patience and imagination to reconstruct what once stood.
