Opening our doors in 2001 and inspired by the prospect of giving customers a more complete experience, Coffee#1 has remained true to the values we established on day one and that's to make it locally loved - serving great coffee made by talented baristas, in a relaxed and welcoming environment where your time is your own.

Instead of listing the hundreds of things needed to make wonderful coffee, let’s just say we take great care choosing the best beans, and produce outstanding coffee that we’re sure you’ll love.

Hard wooden benches aren’t for us - we think coffee should be enjoyed in comfort, which is why you’ll find loads of soft furnishings and signature Chesterfields in all our shops.
