Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1008646) describes a stone cist on the eastern edge of a large hut circle settlement, on a south-facing slope overlooking the valley of the River Yealm. It is a rectangle 0.68 metres long and 0.22 metres wide, bounded on the north and west by upright slabs up to 0.6 metres high and on the east by two small stones showing through the turf. There is no sign of a cairn mound, but the old ground surface under it may survive. It lies in the parish of Cornwood.
