Braddon Tor

Braddon Tor is a granite peak of modest height that sits well within Dartmoor's central moorland. At 515 metres above sea level, it commands the kind of views that reward a walk across open moor, with long sight lines across the granite landscape and the rolling heather-clad hills that characterise this part of the park.
The tor is accessible from several directions across decent moorland paths and is a natural waypoint on longer moorland walks. Its low profile makes it less dramatic than some of Dartmoor's higher tors, but that simplicity is part of its appeal. It offers a genuine sense of the working moor, away from the more heavily trafficked peaks.
