Short Walk: the Chairman's Festive Walk at Burrator

The walk will explore quarry SSSI details, GWR Princetown railway track bed, Burrator & Sheepstor Halt station, Burrator Reservoir and history of the dam, The Devonport Leat, Lowery Tank Barn, and return beside the Reservoir. There will be a short section of road walking as we return to the car park.

There will be mince pies at the walk start. We will probably visit a pub/café after the walk.

Start time: 10:00am

End time: 1:30pm

Distance: 4 miles, moderate
