Trusham is a small village and civil parish in the Teign valley, Teignbridge, Devon, between Newton Abbot and Exeter. It is outside the Dartmoor National Park, whose boundary at the River Teign is just over half a mile away. The parish website gives 211 residents at the 2021 census, while Wikipedia gives 209. Domesday Book lists it as Trisma.

St Michael's church stands on a hilltop and is listed in Domesday Book. It was reconsecrated in 1259. Most of the present building is 15th and 16th century and it is listed Grade II*. A record of 1540 calls it All Saints. The font is 11th or 12th century, and the rood screen has uprights of about 1431, mostly rebuilt around 1890. A painted memorial shows the Staplehill family at prayer in 1593.

The Cridford Inn is a thatched longhouse. Its own history page says the property goes back to 825, belonged to Buckfast Abbey, and that John Credford appears on the 1524 tax rolls. A bar window of the 13th to 15th century is claimed as possibly the earliest surviving medieval domestic window in England. A floor mosaic found in 1988 carries a date read as either 1801 or 1081, and its origin is unexplained. The inn gives 7 August 1982 as its opening, but other sources say 1985.

The village hall was the village school until 1948. The poet Charles Causley's family came from Trusham. The village is run by a parish meeting, not a parish council.
