The Old Forge

We are delighted to offer you a very warm welcome to the Old Forge Bed and Breakfast. We are relatively new owners of the Old Forge and took ownership of the property in May 2017. Our ethos is clear, “to provide all our guests with a good, clean, comfortable room with a good hearty breakfast”.

We have lived in the South Hams for over 35 years and I have been in the hospitality Industry for 40 years. My husband is a part owner of small micro-brewery Salcombe Brewery which is going from strength to strength.

Totnes is a vibrant town boasting a wide range of bespoke shops and eating places. Which take advantage of the splendid and varied local produce. We are also in easy access of both Dartmoor and many of the South West’s most beautiful villages and beaches. There are a variety of superb places to explore and enjoy during your stay and we have included some of our favourite places to see.
