The Field System is a shop, gallery and print workshop on West Street in Ashburton, describing itself as offering folk-inspired art and objects. It is the hub of the Ashburton Artists & Artisans trail, where visitors can collect a trail map and see samples of each maker's work. The space hosts changing exhibitions of local and regional artists.
Open Thursday to Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm, with other days by appointment.
