Stonelands Waste Tor, also known as 'The Grotto', is a challenging peak located near Bovey Tracey in the parish of Hennock. This tor, part of Shap Tor Wood, is difficult to access due to dense vegetation but offers impressive rock formations. Its summit, at grid reference SX 818 799, can be seen from a gate between Lower Bowden and Furzeleigh Cross, where it stretches for about 200 metres, with notable outcrops visible from the road.
