Stable near Walreddon Manor

This modest but solidly built stable and attached cart shed stands about 500 metres south-east of Walreddon Manor, part of the working infrastructure that supported farming on the edge of Dartmoor. The building likely dates to the 18th or 19th century, when such structures were essential to moorland and upland estates. Its Grade II* listing reflects both its construction quality and its place in the rural heritage of the area.
