Smith Hill Tor is a modest but distinctive metamorphic outcrop near the hamlet of Cudlipptown, partly shaded by oaks and situated beside a lane heading east. It lies in the shadow of some fine trees, with an older, neglected track on the northern side that may have once been the original route past the outcrop. It's a quiet, easy-to-reach spot, often passed on walks towards White Tor or on the way back from Peter Tavy.
