Old Exeter Inn

The Old Exeter Inn has occupied the same spot in Ashburton for nearly 900 years, making it one of Britain's oldest continuously trading pubs. Known for proper British cooking—pies with shortcrust pastry, buttered mash and Port gravy, Sunday roasts, and tinned fish conservas—it's a working pub that takes its food and drink seriously.
