Manaton Show and Fair

Manaton Show and Fair is a traditional summer fair held on the church field and village green at Manaton, with the 15th-century church of St Winifred as the backdrop. In 2026 it was held on Saturday 8 August, with entry from 1.30pm and tickets sold at the gate: adults 5 pounds, children under 14 free, parking free all day.

There are craft stalls, horticultural, produce and arts displays and competitions, a dog show, a bric-a-brac and plant sale, Dartmoor exhibitors, games and races, live music and a classic car display, with lunches, a beer tent, teas and cakes. Proceeds go to the upkeep of St Winifred's Church and to local good causes.
