Fallen Brother Dolmen

Belstone, Devon

Part of Belstone →

The Fallen Brother Dolmen is a collapsed dolmen near Irishman's Wall, found in the same research as the Irishman's Wall Circle and the Metheral Stone Circle by Alan Endacott.

He named it in tribute to Dartmoor people who died in the two world wars. One report gives the reason as that it fell having lost only one of its supports. That comes from a single report I could not open in full, so treat it as the reported reason rather than a confirmed one.

Its date, exact position and protection status are not given in the coverage found. A guided walk in June 2025 visited it.
