The Devon Rural Archive is an independent heritage centre for the study of the county's buildings and landscapes, which first opened to the public in 2009. It holds a collection of maps, photographs, books, documents and oral histories tracing Devon's rich rural heritage.
It is at Shilstone, near Modbury, and is open to the public Wednesday to Sunday, 10:30am to 4pm.
