Planning photoshoots on Dartmoor means knowing where the sun will be, not just when it rises and sets. This tool works out the sunrise, sunset and golden hour for any spot on the moor, on any date, so you can be in the right place at the right time instead of guessing.

The sun doesn't rise and set in the same spot all year. In midsummer it swings a long way round to the north; in midwinter it stays low and tracks a short arc close to the south. That shift changes which tor catches the first light, which valley stays in shadow, and how long you have before dark.
