The Elephant's Nest
The Elephant's Nest is a dog-friendly bed and breakfast set within a traditional English country pub on the western side of Dartmoor National Park, near Tavistock in Devon. The inn offers twin and double rooms, with an emphasis on substantial, freshly cooked breakfasts using quality ingredients. Evening meals are available by pre-order.
Well-positioned for exploring Dartmoor's moorland and walking routes, the inn is also within 40 minutes of North Devon and Cornwall beaches. Nearby Tavistock, voted the UK's best market town in 2005, offers local food and produce. The surrounding villages of Mary Tavy and Peter Tavy provide access to horse riding, paragliding, and the open countryside.
