Malcolm Snelgrove LRPS

Malcolm Snelgrove is a Dartmoor-based photographer specialising in horse and landscape photography. Through his long-term Wild Equus® project, he documents the role of wild and semi-wild horses in conservation grazing across Dartmoor and beyond, combining photography with science and advocacy.

He leads Dartmoor Horse Photography Workshops that take participants into the moor to develop equine photography skills. Rather than directing subjects, Malcolm teaches the craft of patient observation, timing, and framing - capturing authentic moments of horses moving naturally through their environment. He works with The English National Park Experience Collection.
