Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1002498) describes an enclosed settlement on an east-facing slope overlooking the valley of Broadall Lake, made up of at least five irregular enclosures with stone walls up to 3 metres wide and 0.7 metres high. At least nine stone hut circles lie in and against them, with inner diameters from 3 to 8.5 metres. It lies in the parish of Cornwood, about 1.6 km north-east of Rook Tor and 3.5 km north of Cornwood.
Some huts are attached to the enclosure walls, while the earlier ones are butted by them. Some walls have been overlain by a later newtake wall.
