Chagford Show is the annual agricultural show of Chagford, on the north-east edge of Dartmoor. The show's own website gives Thursday 20 August for 2026 and Thursday 19 August for 2027, which makes it the third Thursday of August, and calls the most recent one the 124th running.
The show has a main ring, equine classes, a dog show, trade stands and a craft tent, with livestock classes in the livestock field. The Show Secretary's message on the website explains that a summer of drought, fire risk and Bluetongue Virus led to the cancellation of all the livestock classes in one year, and that the show went ahead with its other attractions.
