Vermin trap near Trowlesworthy Warren House

This scheduled monument comprises a length of reave, a substantial Bronze Age field boundary, alongside a vermin trap of later date. The reave is one of many that cross Dartmoor, marking the systematic division of the moor into parcels during the Bronze Age. The trap, built into or near the reave line, reflects the ongoing use and management of this landscape through subsequent periods.

Today the site sits on open moorland southeast of Trowlesworthy Warren House, part of the intricate web of prehistoric and later structures that define Dartmoor's archaeology.
