Round cairn near the Ordance Survey triangulation pillar on Cox Tor

This round cairn sits on the northern slope of Cox Tor, one of Dartmoor's prominent granite peaks. The monument dates to the Bronze Age, when communities built cairns as burial places or ceremonial markers across the moor.
