Vermin trap 490m south of Trowlesworthy Warren House

This vermin trap forms part of Trowlesworthy Warren, a landscape shaped by centuries of rabbit and hare management on the open moor. The trap itself is a small stone structure, designed to control predators that threatened the warren's stock. Such features are scattered across Dartmoor's surviving warrens, evidence of the practical economies that sustained settlements on the high ground.
