This scheduled monument comprises two stone hut circles and an associated enclosure, likely dating to the Bronze Age. The structures sit on open moorland east of Trowlesworthy Warren, part of the dense scatter of prehistoric settlement evidence that characterises this part of Dartmoor. The hut circles are built from stone rubble, their foundations and low walls still traceable across the ground.
Today the site remains as it has for millennia: exposed to the moor's weather, set among heather and grass. It offers a tangible sense of how people once lived on Dartmoor's high ground, and forms part of the wider archaeological landscape that tells the story of Bronze Age community and land use across the national park.
