Hut circle 400m south east of Great Nodden

This stone hut circle forms one dwelling within a larger Bronze Age settlement that once occupied this moorland terrain. Built from dry stone and now reduced to its foundations, the circular structure tells of domestic life on Dartmoor in prehistory. The hut was likely roofed with thatch or turf, and its stones would have provided shelter against the open moor's demanding weather.
