Round cairn near Raddick Hill

This round cairn sits on open moorland some 650 metres west-south-west of Raddick Hill summit, in landscape typical of Dartmoor's central uplands. Like many cairns across the moor, it likely dates to the Bronze Age, when this high ground saw sustained settlement and ritual activity. The cairn would have served as a burial monument, possibly marking a significant individual or family group.
