Four round cairns 1060m south east of Great Trowlesworthy Tor

These four round cairns sit on the high moorland south east of Great Trowlesworthy Tor, their presence marking a Bronze Age burial ground. Round cairns of this kind, built over the remains of the dead and their grave goods, cluster across Dartmoor's higher ground and are among the most visible links to the communities who lived and herded on these slopes thousands of years ago.

Visiting the site means walking open moor in a landscape little changed in character since prehistory.
