Cairn near Raddick Hill

This scheduled monument is a cairn standing in the moorland south-west of Raddick Hill summit. It forms part of a cairnfield, a clustering of stone monuments typical of Bronze Age burial and ritual practice on Dartmoor. The cairn itself is likely a funerary or ceremonial structure, built at a time when this high moorland was more regularly settled and used than it is today.
